COCHLEA & EUSTACHIA in their FIRST ANIMATED FEATURE!
It's no secret that I've long wanted to see Cochlea & Eustachia star in their own animated series. Rather than wait for someone else to take on the task, I've decided to do it myself. I am very slow at learning to use the animation software, but I'm confident with time I will be producing some decent cartoons soon enough.
This video is a very simple piece of experimental animation to get a feel for what the cartoons will eventually look like. It's primitive and a bit clunky, but promising. Enjoy!

ECTOPIARY RESUMES!
Three years have passed, but ECTOPIARY is back!
IT has been a long while, but I've decided to try and pick the storyline up again. Many parts of the website are still out-of-date, and it will take a few months before I can re-format the previous 115 pages. Any and all feedback regarding the website is much appreciated!
Also, I've altered the PATREON site to reflect that I'm now drawing two comic strips on regular basis. (Not to mention the DELIA, the collaboration between my wife, Krissy Dorn, and myself) If you've been waiting for an impetus to show your support, this would a wonderful time to start!
Because I am dividing my time between these various cartooning projects (not including my day-job and a few secret projects) I cannot promise a regularly-occuring update schedule. Most likely, I'll be alternating between posting a page of ECTOPIARY and COCHLEA & EUSTACHIA as I complete them.

A Comfortable World of Goo
I’ve often said that “everybody and their pet monkey has a rock band.” Occasionally, I will doodle around on a guitar or cheap synthesizer. Sometimes, I will even go so far as to record myself making these noises. The ultimate hubris would be for me to post these recordings online and sell them to people. This, I have done. Listen to my caterwauling and stupid lyrics amidst the gristle an inept guitar playing. Now available at my newly created band camp page. I challenge you to enjoy this!

Keeping a regular weekly schedule of C&E updates is currently unrealistic. Naturally, I'll do my best to keep these posts appearing on a regular basis. Announcing DELIA - A new webcomic collaborative by Hans Rickheit and Krissy Dorn!
Greetings!
My wife, Krissy Dorn and I have been working on this comic project for awhile. I had made a promise on the Patreon site that when it hit $50 per week, I would start posting it online as a regular webcomic. At the moment, the Patreon fund is $27.50, so I don’t think it would be that much of a stretch to achieve that goal.
Yes, DELIA filled with cute, fuzzy squirrels. Will this be a heartwarming tale to stand the ages and become the next Disney blockbuster feature film; or will it be another weird Hans Rickheit product filled with perversion, drug abuse and gratuitous violence? We’ll just have to wait and see!

For some mysterious reason, I was struggling with this page. In spite of every effort to the contrary, the girls still appear to be stiff and unnatural. There was a lot of cursing and crumpled paper emanating from my drawing board that day. Hopefully, future pages will look better.
I decided that the big guy's name is Fronky. That was the name of George Orwell's imaginary friend when he was a small child.
