Hey all,
I went to MoCCA Fest on Sunday, and it was a great show. The best part was finally meeting Hans in person, and having him sign my copy of FOLLY. We didn't actually meet until the end of the day when he was signing at the Fantagraphics table, and by then we were both pretty burnt out (Hans from two days at the festival and all that entails, me from the Sunday travel into NYC to go to it, and from an author event the day before). So we didn't do too much shop talk, but did sketch out a few plans we'll work on later in the week.
I hope Hans will post a bit about his own MoCCA Fest experience soon, until then, look for new pages to go up this week for ECTOPIARY and CHLOE (and perhaps C&E).

MoCCA Fest reminder
As noted before, Hans and FOLLY: The Consequences of Indiscretion will be at MoCCA Fest this weekend. There will be a panel on Saturday at 3:25PM in Room B featuring a one on one with Hans, and you'll be able to find him at the Fantagraphics table (#J1, J2, J3, K1) for scheduled signings* at the following times:
Where else he may be is a mystery to me. What's not is the location of the festival, just click on the picture below for directions:

FOLLY in my mailbox
Well, a few days ago, that is.
Hans showed you his copy of FOLLY, now I show you mine. I received it earlier this week, and it is indeed a wonder. In fact, mine came with bonus hair:
I have a few issues of Hans' self published comic CHROME FETUS (the namesake of this blog), from which FOLLY: The Consequences of Indiscretion derives its content, and was enthralled with them. So much so that when Hans put out a call for help last year, I answered.
Don't forget, the convention debut of FOLLY happens this weekend at this year's MoCCA Fest in New York City. Hans will be in attendance (I will be as well, but only as a spectator), and is scheduled for his own panel. From the MoCCA Fest website:
If you are in the area, or can otherwise travel from far and wide, grab a badge and say hi to Hans! (And me, should I happen to be lurking around his table)
In other news, we are working on a couple of new offerings I hope to announce soon.

Cochlea & Eustachia Fan Art
Over on the archive page of the Cochlea & Eustachia site, you'll find a link to a page with C&E fan art, many of which Hans had requested from artists he admires.
Among the artists who grace the page are Sean Andress, Jamie Tanner, Kristina Dorn and Thomas Stetson, who contributed two pieces, the latest shown here.
Click on the image to go directly to the fan art page and see them all. And as noted on the page, Hans welcomes any Cochlea & Eustachia fan art you would like to send his way! Just forward it to him him at:

MoCCA Fest 2012
Hey all, Christian here. Just a note to let you know (in case you missed it on the sidebar), that Hans will be attending MoCCA Fest in NYC this year. It will be the official debut of FOLLY: The Consequences of Indiscretion.
This is the tenth anniversary of the festival, and Hans will join Guest of Honor P. Craig Russell, Klein Award Recipient Gary Panter, along with other great artists on April 28th and 29th at the Lexington Avenue Armory, 68 Lexington Ave (Between 25th & 26th Streets). Showtimes are 11am-6pm both days, you can get tickets online now at the MoCCA Fest website.
I'll post more detail as they come about Hans' schedule at MoCCA Fest, and other FOLLY-related happenings, both on the blog and the sidebar under--appropriately enough--"UPCOMING APPEARANCES."
