MULTIPLE PAGE UPDATE
At the time, when I drew this sequence in 1999, I thought this approach would have some kind of dramatic impact. Actually, it's rather boring and doesn't work at all. It was an unfortunate decision to leave it in the book, but I feel it's unextractable now.
