This particular comic is nostalgic for me. It originally appeared in the self-published CHROME FETUS mini-comic #5 from 2004 (or 2005?). I mostly recall hastily finishing it in time for a comix exhibit at the Zeitgeist Gallery, where I got to meet personal heroes, cartoonists Rick Altergott and Ariel Bordeaux.

Not long after, the same comic was published in Danny Hellman's notorious LEGAL ACTION COMICS Vol. 2

I also recall presenting this comic a few years later to a crowd of people at an art event in Philadelphia via overhead projector accompanied by live avant-garde music. Consequently, I was chased out of the city by an angry mob. (Note - this is a truncated version of what happened.)

Here’s a comic that I drew around 2004, maybe? At the time I was living in the top floor of a building that had the words, “The Ugliest Building in Cambridge” spray-painted on the front. 

It was just a block away from the Zeitgeist Gallery’s second location in Hampshire Square (now occupied by a place called the Lily Pad.) 

 I did publish it in an issue of my self-published mini-comic series Chrome Fetus Comics. Lots of people liked this one, and a panel of this comic was used as a cover for the Boston Area weekly arts newspaper, The Weekly Dig.

My deepest gratitude to everybody who helped to make this book a reality! I just now received test copies from the printer while I wait for the Kickstarter funds to arrive. Amazingly, there are no glaring mistakes - it's a very nice-looking publication all around.
